Pedestal Bowl

Designed for serving oysters, desserts or displaying fruit. A wide mouth-blown glass bowl with a flared shape and rounded stem.
Mouthblown by skilled glassblowers created a classic footed bowl with a round flattened ball stem to which the foot is shaped and applied by hand while the glass is still malleable. The rim is melted under a flame to achieve the soft finish.
