Sapphire Gems Vase - Small

Iridescent sapphire colour combined with the pleated texture in the glass to mimic the facets of polished gemstones.
Mouth blown by skilled glassblowers, making impressions in the glass while it is still molten to create a textured surface. The rim of the vase is cut and polished to achieve a smooth finish.
Two lustres are separately painted by hand onto the body of each piece, carefully applied with precision to create a dual-tone finish. The object is fired at a high temperature after painting.
